This policy explains what personal data Trek Nepal collects when you use this website, buy a guide or subscribe to the newsletter, and how that data is used and protected.

What we collect

• Order data: your email address, order contents, amount, and payment status. Card details are never seen or stored by us — payments are processed by Stripe.
• Account data: if you create an account, your email address and display preferences.
• Download events: timestamped logs of download attempts (for fraud and abuse prevention).
• Newsletter data: your email address, optional first name and subscription status (double opt-in).
• Contact messages: what you send us through the contact form.

How we use it

• To deliver purchased PDF guides and order-related emails.
• To provide your download library and support requests.
• To send the newsletter — only if you confirmed your subscription.
• To detect abuse (rate limiting, download-limit enforcement) and to comply with accounting obligations.

Analytics

If enabled, we use privacy-respecting, cookie-less-by-default page analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate usage. You can block analytics with any standard browser setting or extension.

• Resend — transactional email delivery. See resend.dev/privacy.
• Cloudflare — CDN, DNS and private file storage (R2). See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Vercel — application hosting. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Newsletter emails always include an unsubscribe option; account deletion also removes stored order access links.
